I had a recall notice on my European sedan. I took it to the local dealer who did the recall work as well as an inspection of the overall condition of the car. They gave me an estimate of almost $2,000. I told them I would get a second opinion and I had Lou's take a look. They indicated the first piece definitely needed replaced, the second piece could wait 10,000 miles and the third piece was unnecessary altogether. They gave me an estimate on the first two at $750 vs. $1,800 for the first two from the dealer. Such great people.

More than once they've told me I can wait on something or that isn't the problem it's something cheaper. You can ask for more!
